It
is very important that when produce orders arrive, they be
inspected for freshness. It is essential that you store your
products in proper refrigeration. Ideal storage temperature
is 34-38 degrees F. Should you store your product at a temperature
any higher than this, the life or your product will be reduced
considerably. If products are to be used in a kitchen or
other "non-refrigerated" area, only take out the product
that is to be used. Product outside of refrigeration should
be kept to a minimum, and any unused portions should be refrigerated
and kept in an air tight container. Also, remember that product
rotation is very important to the life of your fresh cut
produce. First in first out. Make sure you are using the
oldest dated product first. Product is washed, spun dry,
and ready to eat right out of the bag. But it must be kept
cold and wrapped to protect from wind dehydration. None of
our products at East Coast Fresh Cuts have any additives
or preservatives. All products are 100% FRESH! |
